pic from yet another thunderstorm

Last night we had yet another thunderstorm--that's one every week for the last three weeks. Fortunately our part of town was spared the hail and rotation that other parts of town received. Before the storm hit the radar over Enchanted Rock was purple, purple, purple--all around. It weakened some but we still got some of the purple band. Sheets of rain were falling off the Capitol--it looked like waterfalls on the dome. At 7am this morning 17K were still without power.

When it weakened and I got my nerve up I went outside to take a few pics. Here is one of the lightning ones . . .
