Colds . . .

It seems everyone is fighting a cold this week. The worst is Trey, who seems to have an upper respiratory infection. Not good before his big Oral Exam in DC. He's spent most of the day in bed.

Poor Danielle has a horrible sounding cough and wants to be held.

I'm feeling achy but probably the best of us all . . .

I have quite an easy job . . . according to Danielle when I go to work I "wipe off your computer then e-mail friends all day long." lol!

Saturday afternoon we made Valentine's Day cookies and addressed all Danielle's Valentines. Danielle included Hayden, a boy from a different classroom, in her Valentines and one cookie for him as well. And, of course, Max from church is also getting a Valentine. Hmmmmm . . .

Cold, rainy day today. It was the last day for Lucas, our wonderful intern; he's off to Russia to teach English and absorb the culture and language. After work went to have dinner with my in-laws, Doug and Nancy, and good friends, MeriJo and Jimmy. They are staying at a time share in Lakeway. It is an incredibly cool little place. Is an Octogonal-shaped condo on stilts hanging over the cliff and lake water. Only a two bed, two bath, little kitchen and den, wrap around porch and even a washer and dryer! We played Mexican Train Dominoes after dinner. I started out SO GOOD for the first few hands then not so much. MeriJo came out in 1st, then Nancy, Doug, Trey, Me, Jimmy. Sweet, precious D entertained herself so well; poor only child. She played with us somewhat and will be an awesome game player one day.

35 yr old mid life crisis

So I turned 35 and not so happy. Have a wonderful life so I know that I should be happy with my blessings. But it just didn't turn out the way I had planned (does anything?)

So if I'm going to have the midlife crisis early . . . might as well do it with a different 'do. I am now a blonde. Good response so far . . . let me know what you think.
